I live in residence in the sunny city of Calgary and there is much in my life at the moment that requires me to find patience. Patience with school, floor mates, and with my unplanned future. I hadn’t realized that this word expressed the thing that I was lacking until I saw a sign on a bulletin board. This board had a post on it that titles ” Take What You Need” and underneath were words that one could rip off. I had passed by it a couple of times and hadn’t really looked at the words but later during the day I had time to spare and decided to take a closer look. I looked at each word individually and thought to myself if that word applied to my life. Some did more than others but they weren’t really the thing that I was looking for, not until the word patience appeared. Without thought, I ripped it from its home and went to my room where I stuck it to my wall. Every morning now I wake up and look at the word and remind myself that patience is needed and even though I might not have all the answers, I must have patience and trust in my lord that He will show mw his plans for me.
